Private Lessons

At BandWorks we believe that finding the right music teacher is a critical part of helping every musician realize his or her potential. We strongly recommend that students in BandWorks also take private lessons, and find that those who combine private instruction with our rock band workshops develop their skills and musicianship much more quickly.  Over 80% of the musicians who participate in our rock band workshops also take private lessons, where they receive the personal attention and specialized feedback that help they need to succeed.

Through our network of selected instructors, BandWorks offers one-on-one private lessons on guitar, bass, piano, drums, voice, woodwinds and brass. Lessons take place at BandWorks studios and at student’s homes.

Typical lessons last for 30 or 60 minutes, though longer lessons may be available depending on the instructor. Rates vary by instructor, and range from $40-$100 per hour.

Lessons are arranged through the BandWorks office.  Cancellations must be made a minimum of 48 hours in advance to receive credit.
